Why do you come here?

i come here to learn, but i also come here because it feels like a private club and i'm privy to be a member of the "in" crowd.

it's a great place to socialize.

does anyone else feel that they are a member of a special "club" when they come here, that only some people in this world will understand the jw world?.

I am hoping that one day, old friends will find themselves awake to Watchtower's lies and will post here. What fun!

This morning as I was driving by, I saw an old JW friend in her front garden. I could have stopped and caught up with her, but I am not interested in people's lives that still Believe. Their lives are old and stale and many are depressed, marking time, waiting just for The End... That, of course, never will come! I had a plastic 'theocratic' smile plastered on my face for most of my life. I can't do that anymore. Now that I know TTATT, I don't think I can handle listening to people getting excited about what the latest nu -lite from the GB is. I don't want to go ape like, lol, on them and tell them stop being a WT free slave drone!!! Wake up. Wake up and use your reasoning skills and get on with your life! lol That would not be socially acceptable. lol

JWN is my playground. I very much dislike people fighting, the character assassinations especially but I don't have to read those people's posts.

For me reading here, I needed to understand what the heck was it all about? How could I and so many other's, have been so gullible??? How could those above us, have called themselves Christian and been so cruel and abusive , to not just a few, but to so many??? How could I have thought I was in the one true religion??? lol

Now, I am enlightened. lol

i do believe we're entering autumn.

so summer has had its day and like an old friend slipped away and we moves on...how do you feel about entering autumn?.

At one circuit assembly, the visiting Bethel speaker in the late 1980's went on and on about there being no new anointed and if you think you are you are mistaken. lol

Try telling that to two (2) wacko's at our Hall. lol In time the female regular pioneer was DF'd and the Elder bro ended up dying in a hospital with dementia.

Hi there, All for show. I would like to talk to you as one mom to another.

Something, more, to add to your long list of things to think about. Discussing taking or not taking blood transfusions for yourselves and your 5 children before an emergency situation comes up.

Also giving some thought to making a living Will, now before a possible crisis pops up. Who would you want to take care of your children? Would you want any JW relatives to have your precious offspring?

I know you and your husband have much to talk about. I was a born in. I discovered TTATT at age 62. Kudos for getting your education! You sound like wonderful people. Your children will be so proud of you when they grow up and understand what you helped them to escape from.

I am on the Pacific West Coast. It is 8:25 PM on Monday evening.

In the UK right now, it is 8 hours difference. So it is 4:25 AM UK time. I don't think even the roosters start crowing that early. lol
